What is montessori ?
Maria Montessori (1870–1952), Italian educator. She advocated a child-centered approach to education.
Montessori
Noun: A system of education for young children that seeks to develop natural interests and activities rather than use formal teaching methods.
Exercises such as cutting,pouring,polishing,sewing,sorting,washing etc.These are simple activities that develop small motor skils and promotes independence and self confidence. These activities play a developmental and creative role .There is prominence of physical movements.
